Ambient sounds and minimalistic melodies create viscous and tight atmosphere, while unpredictable beats that contrast with field recordings build unusual rhythmic texture. This album was published by Swiss art group Post, and released in limited edition of 25 copies

«There is a very strong dub overtone (which I suppose you might well guess from the title), but its not your usual Echospace wannabee sort of sound at all

This is more to do with attitude than actual sound, if you know what I mean. And, in fact, this recalls Vladislav Delay or even Luomo at times and you know how different his material was to most of the other Chain Reaction output. This is all about depth and putting sounds together in an abstract way, but then pulling out these mutant grooves that don't seem to rely on standard rhythms at all

It's ambient, certainly, but it also has a rhythmic life of its own that keeps you guessing throughout the tracks. Heavy on atmospheres and textures but always backed up with flat, analogue-sounding bass work which is really the lynchpin of the whole release. I'm digging this in a big way and if youíre looking for something dubwise but really quite different this is going to be for you. Excellent sounds from .at/on»

«.at/on plays clicks and cuts music, with nice bouncy bass structures and glitchy melodies. Maybe it finds its inspiration in electro-acoustic music—things are hinted towards that in the opening of the pieces—which are melted together into pieces of click & cut. A bit like Alva Noto once did for Ideal Recordings. At twenty-three minutes this is quite a solid release. Products Of Passed Days is my first long play album was released on Complementary Distribution netlabel

The 12 tracks offer anything that a good glitch ambient pieces have to: fragmented emotional audio atmospheres moving back and forth from the dimensions of musical and non-musical harmonies, and carefully inserted field recordings, broken by sometimes childish and innocent melodies that echo and deform through the complex possibilities of digital sound processes

This release contains 4 rarities that were released on test tube net label in 2008 year.

The „fon” pieces were previously released through Cifrarec. Project, a long gone and closed, so they were both unavailable until now. „Products of Passed Days” and „scape-01” on the other hand, were previously released in a very limited CD-r edition

The main soundwork is offered through electroacoustic ambient and glitch and drone flavors. „fon a” and „fon b” are two small pieces of glitch ambient and experimental noise that together make up one complete story. „scape-01” and „Products of Passed Days” are much more on the ambient drone side, lenghtier and more spatious pieces, with a twist of dark ambient throughout

Release after release, .at/on seems to have in heart to reintroduce quite beautiful harmonies (untitled 02) where one could imagine some and icy distance. Admittedly technological, the result is not less than one attractive beauty. Is .at/on first nano-poet?»
